Financial Analyst (Anaplan model builder)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Become proficient in all aspects of our forecasting tool, Anaplan
• Collect business requirements on key company operations and challenge the key stakeholders in finding the best forecasting practices
• Visualize, conceptualize and build financial models
• Engage, train and assist new users on both Anaplan and its models
• Assist with coordinating and executing project management related tasks during the implementation phase
• Own the process of data flow between Anaplan and other financial systems
• Work closely with business controllers on model improvements and business changes to provide the best user experience possible
• Proactively approach key stakeholders to explore further opportunities with Anaplan
• Provide support to the team during the preparation of the company’s budgeting cycles
• Support the FP&A Manager and the business controllers in ad hoc projects and analysis

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a finance role
• Keen interest in internal KPI reporting and analysis
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modelling
• Experience with building macros or have used scripting languages preferred, but not required
• Comfortable with problem-solving and the mentality to try and fail and try again; “think outside the box” approach
• Able to work under pressure and with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the accuracy
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and ensure their completion
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
• Organized and shows attention to detail with sharp analytical skills
